I am driven by a desire to improve learning experiences for people. I started my career teaching biology and chemistry to high school students with language-based learning disabilities. More recently, I tutor individuals and small groups and have managed a corps of volunteers to do the same in a drop-in Homework Center. I teach short-term classes in computer usage for library users in both English and Spanish and host school visits to teach students more about how to use their library. I train colleagues on software and equipment. In libraries, I facilitate visitors’ personal education plans and quests for information. In short, my passion is connecting people with the information they need and want.
